Team Treasurers are entrusted with the financial integrity of your team. The primary objective of this role is to provide full and fair disclosure of each team’s financial transactions. In this role, you agree to uphold Shadow’s name by fairly and honestly appropriating team funds.
As the Team Treasurer, you will primarily receive communication regarding club/team financial needs from the Team Manager or other team families. Managers will pass on any and all information regarding reimbursements and fees, including guest player information, needed for coaching expenses, club reimbursement, or tournament applications. For every away game or tournament, it is the responsibility of the Treasurer to divide the total costs by the number of players on the team, and then communicate this information per player via e-mail for collection. Prior to each tournament, “away” game, or miscellaneous expense the team incurs, it is the Team Treasurers responsibility to send, via email, a PDF copy of the Team Tracking Sheet, along with the cover letter detailing the expenses the team is incurring, to each player family and the Club Bookkeeper so that each family is provided an accurate accounting of their players account.
