RCL September Update - Great opening month for Spokane Sounders

The first month of the 2016 Fall RCL campaign has been fairly successful for the Spokane Sounders with a combined 43-20-4 record amongst the 15 teams. The four 2004 and 2003 girls squads are dominating in the U13 and U14 leagues with a combined 17-2-0 record. Highlighting things on the boys side, the 1998 Sounders are a combined 5-1-0 in their U19 leagues while the 2002 Sounders sides are 9-2-0 in the U15 RCL leagues.

While their older counterparts are playing high school soccer, the four 2004 and 2003 girls squads are dominating in the U13 and U14 leagues with a combined 17-2-0 record. 

Highlighting things on the boys side, the 1998 Sounders are a combined 5-1-0 in their U19 leagues while the 2002 Sounders sides are 9-2-0 in the U15 RCL leagues. 

 

Sounders B98-A / Sounders B98-A 
The young men are off to a good start in their final go-around in the RCL. The A squad is 3-1-0 and sitting tied for first in U19 Division 2 with four others with nine points. The B squad won its first two matches in Division 3. 

Sounders B00-A 
In U17 Division 2, the Sounders are off to a good start at 2-1-1. They picked up a pair of wins at home in the opener and the first weekend of October. In between they faced the top two sides on the road, falling to Eastside FC in the first match but rebounding to tie Seattle United. 

 

Sounders B01-A / Sounders B01-B 
The U16 age group is proving to be a difficult test with both Sounders sides still looking for their first win after four weeks of play. 

Sounders B02-A / Sounders B02-B
With a 3-2-0 start, the Sounders A squad is in the mix in U15 Division 1, sitting third. The B side, meanwhile, is soaring through Division 4, scoring at least three goals in five of their six games to start 6-0-0. They also have only allowed three goals. 

 

Sounders B03-A / Sounders B03-B
After winning their first two, the Sounders A side has hit a rough patch and sits fourth in U14 Division 2 at 2-3-1. Their B squad counterparts in Division 5 are off to a roaring 3-0-0 start with a 16-2 aggregate scoreline after three games. 

Sounders B04-A / Sounders B04-B
In U13 Division 1, the Sounders A squad are off to an excellent 3-0-0 start, allowing just one goal and scoring 14. Things have a been more challenging for Sounders B at 2-2-1. They opened with a scoreless draw on the road against the current league-leader Whatcom FC, but dropped the second half of the trip against RVS, which is currently second. The following week they played a third consecutive road game, getting a win at NorthWest United, currently fourth, but had to travel back home and dropped the second game of the weekend. 

 

Sounders G03-A / Sounders G03-B
The Sounders A team is off to a flying start with a 4-0-0 record, outscoring their opposition in U14 Division 3 by a 20-3 scoreline. In Division 5, the Sounders B squad is also off to a great start at 4-1-0. 

Sounders G04-A / Sounders G04-B
In U13 Division 2 the Sounders A side, which has opened with four of five games on the road, is off to a great 4-1-0 start with their lone defeat coming in their most recent outing in the second half of a two-game road trip against current league leader FWFC. They have two more on the road next week before finishing with six of seven at home. The Sounders B squad is also off to a stellar start, winning their first three on the road and the next two at home for a perfect 5-0-0 start and a stunning 26-2 score aggregate.
