Whitworth University men’s soccer coach and
Spokane Shadow Youth Soccer Club Technical Director Sean Bushéy has been chosen by his peers within the Northwest Conference as
NWC Coach of the Year for the fourth time. Bushéy, the winningest and longest-serving coach in Whitworth men’s soccer history, picked up his NWC Coach of the Year award after leading the 2008 team to a second straight Northwest Conference title and a spot in the 2008 NCAA Division III tournament. The Pirates won their fourth title in the last five years and fifth since 2001. He had previously been named NWC Coach of the Year in 2001, 2004, and 2007. His record is 156-71-26 in 13 years at Whitworth.
